Supply Chain Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate a supply chain acquisition integration “playbook” and strategy.
  • Identify process bottleneck and areas of improvement, and communicate and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Provide ongoing development, coaching and performance management to the team and ensure a high level of performance.
  • Apply an advance knowledge of materials and supply chain management and draw upon substantial experience to identify and/or solve highly complex business problems.
  • Prepares documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, and corrective actions.
  • Work and communicate effectively with Production, Sales, Engineering, and other departments.
  • Coordinate domestic and international supply orders.
  • Addresses demand and supply planning issues elevated by the leadership team for resolution and escalates with the suppliers as required.
  • Evaluation of vendors to ensure a high level of quality, accuracy, and on-time performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, purchasing, logistics and production scheduling, preferably with at a minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory/leadership role overseeing the work of a team.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows based programs
